Careers at Ayureon

Healthcare interoperability, done right.

We're a small team building the platform we wished existed when we worked inside pharmacies, clinics, and digital health companies. If you care about the same problem, we'd like to hear from you.

Where we are

Not actively hiring — yet.

We don't have open requisitions posted publicly today. Our hiring plan ramps with platform milestones, and we'd rather have no listings than fake ones.

When we do open roles, they will be concentrated in the areas below. If you work in one of these fields and the rest of this page resonates, send a note. We keep a small bench of people we'd call first.

Roles we'd open first

Engineering and clinical, in roughly that order.

Backend engineering
FHIR R4, Python/Node, distributed systems. The data normalization and reconciliation layer is the deepest part of the stack.
Integrations engineering
CommonWell, Carequality, TEFCA, Surescripts, NCPDP. If you've shipped a production HIE integration, we want to talk.
Clinical informatics
MD, PharmD, or RN with informatics experience. You'd own how clinical truth shows up in the API surface.
Security engineering
HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST trajectory. Healthcare-grade audit, encryption, and access control.
Developer experience
SDKs, docs, OpenAPI tooling. The interface is the product for half our customers.
How we work

Small team. Real users. Healthcare-grade caution.

Headquartered in Austin. Hybrid in spirit — most engineering and product work is async, but we get in a room together often, and clinical work is on-site where it has to be.

We ship behind feature flags, write down our decisions, review every PR, and run a real audit trail because we have to. We don't move fast and break things on patient data. We move deliberately and never break things on patient data.

Comp is competitive for the stage, with equity. Healthcare benefits live up to the company building healthcare infrastructure.

Send us your work, not your resume.

A short note about what you've built, a link to code or writing we can read, and what kind of problem you want to work on next. We read every one.
